Government Degree College Jindrah is a co-educational institute affiliated with University of Jammu established on 29th June 2011 in Jindrah, Jammu District It is affiliated with UGC under section 2(f) The college offers BA course for the undergraduate level having 11 subjects at present and multi-disciplinary courses as per NEP 2020 has been implemented as per University rules
It is approx 55 kms from Jammu, J&K The college is surrounded by Devika temple, Shakti Peeth Nabha Mata and beautiful green landscapes It is presently functioning in GHSS Jindrah and have 8-9 rooms & continuously adding its infrastructure there The college has 90 kanals land approx one km from present campus and buildings are under construction The college initially started with a mere number of 84 students in 2012-13 and presently 336 students have been admitted in 2022-2023
